Hi friends,
I was tagged by two of my good blogger friends and I owe them an apology for this overdue post. I keep telling that there is no time to write this post but that is just a silly excuse. I thoroughly enjoyed answering these lovely questions and a bonus joy of being tagged....thanks to Dr.Sameena Prathap and Prathima for tagging me.
Who inspired you to cook or start a food blog?
My photographs -they are the main reason I started a food blog. Cooking has always been a part of my daily routine. My main motivation to keep going is my family and all my lovely friends who visit my blog often and leave their kind words...I bow down to your kindness...Hats off.....
What is your take on organic food? Is it a big deal for you?
I don't believe in organic food. If I am in India I would purchase my vegetables and fruits from the farmers market [uzhavar santhai] fresh everyday. When I am in the UK I just see for the expiry date...
You try a new recipe and and it does not turn good. What will you do?
I won't lose my sleep over it....learn from my mistake....
Do you have a new year resolution and will you be sticking to it?
Until this year I have not made a resolution but this year I have made one and will update [post] in two weeks time.
Do you time your breakfast, dinner and lunch or eat when you are hungry?
Yep, normally all three meals are at set times along with mid-morning and evening snacks but then exceptions are always there.
Name three ingredients you consciously avoid or eliminate even when the recipe calls for it?
MSG, excess oil and sugar.
Name three things you use in most recipes?
Cumin, garlic and pepper corns.
How important is eating together as a family to you?
Very important, especially since my daughter is 2yrs old she wants both her mom and dad by her side during meal times and I truly believe only by this way we can instill good eating habits and strengthen family bonding in the younger generation.
You do not like the food at your favourite restaurant ,what will you do?
Tell the waiter that that particular dish is not good and order something else.
I have tried to answer the questions to my level best and have tagged five more friends...keep the chain going..
