This is one of most favourite of side dishes for rotis......what could be better than sitting in front of the tv and biting into paneer in tomato sauce rolled in a warm roti .....
Paneer: 300gms.
Onions[large]: 2.
Red capsicum: 1.
Green chillies:3-4.
Dhania powder: 1 tbsp.
Garam masala: 1/2 tsp.
Salt:as per taste.
Sugar: 1 tsp.
Oil: 1-2 tbsp.
Grind to smooth paste:
Tomatoes: 5.
Ginger: 1 inch piece.
Garlic pods: 5-6 flakes.
1.Cut the paneer into cubes and keep aside. Slice the onions thinly lengthwise. Chop the capsicum into bite size pieces. Chop the green chillies.
2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add onions and chillies and saute until transparent.
3.Add the ground paste, dhania powder and garam masala.
4.Simmer until the sauce is reduced and oil floats on top.
5.Add the paneer and capsicum and cook for 4-5 mins.
6.Check salt and serve hot with rotis.
