Gobi 65.
The name of this recipe tells you everything...there in no need for me give any introduction ... This is one dish that has got everyone one tongue tied...an excellent "Crowd Pleaser" and easy to whip up....you can make this dish in minutes...
Just munching on these lovely bite leaves you fulfilled and ready to take on any sort of weather conditions...be it snow or rain or Artic winds or frost with ice.....whatever....
Cauliflower/gobi [medium] : 1
Ginger garlic paste: 2 tsp.
Lime juice: 3 tsp.
Cornflour: 4 tsp.
Chilli powder: 2 tsp.
Cumin powder: 1 tsp.
Coriander powder: 1 tsp.
Salt: to taste.
Red food colouring [optional] : 1/2 tsp.
Oil: to fry.
To serve:
lemon wedges/onion slices/coriander leaves.
1.Cut the cauliflower into small florets and soak them in salted warm water for 10 mins.
2.Wash them twice in running water and drain well.
3.Meanwhile mix all the ingredients from ginger garlic paste to red food colouring [if using].
4.Mix this paste with the gobi florets well so that all the florets are coated well with the masala paste.
5.Marinate the florets for atleast a couple of hours [the more you marinate the more deep is the flavour].
6.Heat oil in a kadai and fry the florets in small batches until crispy and done.
7.Serve hot garnished with lemon wedges, onion slices and fresh coriander leaves.
