Frozen Banana Custard

This wonderful recipe is done in minutes as you need only 3-4 items and all of them are ready made. Just play with the garnish to give a "Gourmet look".

Readymade Custard : 2 cups.
Ripe Banana: 2.
Brown sugar: 2 tbsp.

To Garnish:
Mint sprigs, rasberries, chocolate decorations.

1. Blend the custard , sliced bananas and sugar. Lumps or no lumps......up to you.
2.When cool, pour in small glasses and freeze for  a couple of hours.
3.Keep them in room temperature for 15-20 mins before garnish.

Just decorate them in what ever edible decorations you have at hand.

4.Garnish with the above given garnish or any fruit of your choice.
5.Serve immediatley.

This dessert is something like a cross between ice cream and shorbet and is actually mildly sweet. Just increase the sugar added to your liking but the dessert would become a little bit darker. I used custard brought from store [ready made].

This goes to the event  "Veggie/Fruit of the Month -Banana" by Priya of Mharo Rajasthan's Recipes, guest hosted by Aipi of US Masala.

  3. thanks for the comments...
Prathima ,I have used readymade custard which comes in tins...you just have to open and pour like condensed milk. I am guessing that custard made from powder will taste the same....do have a try and let me know how it tastes.
